Libra, Your Home and Career Are About to Swap Places

Libra, for the next 18 months, home and career are going to swap places in your mind.

On 25 November 2026, Rahu enters your 4th house: home, property, vehicles, mother, emotional security. Suddenly you’ll want more from where you live. A bigger house, a new city, a renovation, or simply a home that finally feels like yours. At the same time, Ketu enters your 10th house of career, and the work you’ve invested years in may start to feel strangely less important.

That combination can feel unsettling. But I want to share something encouraging first. Of all twelve rashis, Libra has one of the best starts to this transit. Until June 2027, Saturn sits in your 6th house, one of its strongest positions, and from late January Jupiter will be exalted in your 10th. The first seven months are a genuine opportunity to make big home and career decisions well.

The second half asks more of you, especially in marriage and partnerships. This guide shows you the three phases, how your nakshatra shapes the transit, and exactly when to act and when to hold.

Rahu in your 4th, Ketu in your 10th

Rahu in the 4th is hunger for a better home and deeper security. Many Librans will buy property, move cities, upgrade a vehicle or renovate during this transit. Some will feel restless even in a perfectly comfortable home, as though something is missing that they can’t name.

Your mother may need more attention, or play a larger role in your life. The realistic caution: Rahu in the 4th can disturb inner peace, and its restlessness spreads easily to the rest of the family. Property deals also need careful checking, because Rahu tends to hide problems in the papers.

And look at where Rahu sits. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and for Libra, Saturn is your yogakaraka, the single most auspicious planet in your chart, ruling your 4th house (home) and 5th (children, intelligence). So Rahu is in your 4th house, in the sign of your own 4th lord, who is also your best planet. That’s why I believe Libra can genuinely gain property and comfort from this transit, provided the decisions are made in the right months.

Ketu in the 10th loosens your attachment to career and status. The job may feel less meaningful, the title less satisfying, the office politics pointless. Please don’t resign in a hurry. Ketu prepares a change of direction slowly, and the real shift usually becomes clear later in the transit. Ketu sits in Cancer, the Moon’s sign, and for Libra, the Moon rules your 10th. So Ketu is in your 10th, in the sign of your 10th lord. The career theme is doubled.

Where Saturn fits. Saturn sits in Pisces, your 6th house, until June 2027. That’s one of its best positions, helping you overcome competition, illness and debt. From June to October 2027, and again from February 2028, Saturn moves into Aries, your 7th house, where it is debilitated. From there it looks directly at your Moon, and at your 4th house, where Rahu sits. Marriage, partnerships and home will be tested then.

Three phases, three different stories

Rahu and Ketu give the results of the nakshatra lords they pass through, and each lord rules particular houses for a Libran. So the 18 months unfold as three distinct chapters.

Phase one, 25 November 2026 to about late March 2027: home, family money and your spouse. Rahu sits in Dhanishta, ruled by Mars. For Libra, Mars rules your 2nd house (family wealth, savings) and your 7th (spouse, partnerships). So Rahu in your 4th, working through Mars, ties your home to family money and your marriage. Buying a home with your spouse, using family funds for property, or in-laws becoming part of household life are all typical. Disagreements with your spouse about the house are also possible.

Meanwhile Ketu sits in Ashlesha, ruled by Mercury, your 9th and 12th lord. In your 10th house, that can loosen career ties in favour of something more meaningful, remote work, or a role connected with foreign places, often guided by a mentor.

Phase two, about late March to early December 2027: when home and career collide. Rahu moves into Shravana, ruled by the Moon, your 10th lord. Now your 4th and 10th houses link directly. Typical results are working from home, relocating for work, a career connected with property, interiors or education, or your home life directly shaping your career choices.

From about August, Ketu moves into Pushya, ruled by Saturn, your yogakaraka and 4th and 5th lord. In your 10th, that’s a strong signal: your career may begin bending toward what genuinely matters to you, your home, your children, your creative work.

Phase three, about early December 2027 to June 2028: gains through property. Rahu enters Uttarashadha, ruled by the Sun, your 11th lord of gains. Property bought earlier can start paying back: rental income, appreciation, a profitable sale. Vehicles and home-related ventures also do well. Ketu moves through Pushya and finally into Punarvasu, ruled by Jupiter, your 3rd and 6th lord, bringing changes to your daily work routine and your skills as the transit closes.

Your nakshatra: three different Librans

Libra holds parts of three nakshatras, each ruled by a different planet. That planet decides which part of this transit speaks to you most personally.

If you’re born in Chitra, two parts of this transit touch you directly. In phase one, Rahu moves through a Mars nakshatra, and Mars rules your birth star, so the home, family money and spouse themes of that phase feel personal to you. Then, when Saturn enters Aries, it begins in the very first degrees of that sign. From there, Saturn’s 7th aspect falls on the first degrees of Libra, exactly where Chitra-born Moons sit. So you’ll feel Saturn’s pressure on marriage and partnerships before any other Libran: from June to October 2027, and again from early 2028. Plan important joint decisions with your spouse for the spring of 2027.

If you’re born in Swati, you’ll feel Rahu’s restlessness at home more than any other Libran. Swati is Rahu’s own nakshatra, so throughout this transit, Rahu in your 4th isn’t just a passing planet; it’s the lord of your birth star. The urge to move, upgrade or change your living situation may be strong and recurring. Make one well-researched move rather than several restless ones.

If you’re born in Vishakha, the Jupiter window belongs to you. Jupiter rules your birth star, and from January to June 2027 it sits exalted in your 10th house and gazes on your 4th. For you, that window is likely the clearest of the entire transit for both career and home decisions.

Your windows: when to move, when to hold

A strong start: late November 2026 to January 2027

Rahu arrives in your 4th with Jupiter in Leo, your 11th house of gains, and Saturn strong in your 6th. Income is supported and obstacles are manageable. Use these weeks to research the home or career change you’re considering. Don’t sign anything yet; gather information.

Your best months: late January to early June 2027

From about 25 January, Jupiter moves into Cancer, your 10th house, where it is exalted. It sits beside Ketu, and its 7th aspect falls on Capricorn, your 4th, onto Rahu. So Jupiter blesses both sides of your transit at once: career by its presence, home by its gaze. And Saturn is still strong in your 6th.

For Libra, this may be the best stretch of the whole transit. Make the career decision, whether it’s a new role, a new direction, or a shift to flexible work. Buy or book the property. Plan the move. Complete the paperwork. Everything important belongs in these months.

Your demanding months: June to October 2027, and from February 2028

On 3 June 2027, Saturn, your yogakaraka, moves into Aries, your 7th house, where it is debilitated. From there, Saturn’s 7th aspect falls directly on your Moon, and its 10th aspect falls on your 4th house, where Rahu sits. Realistically, expect strain in your marriage or business partnerships, and pressure around the home: a delayed possession, renovation trouble, or tension about living arrangements.

There’s a softening factor. From 26 June 2027, Jupiter is back in Leo, your 11th, and its 9th aspect falls on Aries, your 7th, the same house where Saturn sits. So your marriage has Jupiter’s protection even while Saturn tests it. Saturn returns to your 6th on 20 October 2027, which brings real relief, and re-enters Aries in February 2028.

The practical rule for Libra: decide and buy before June 2027; from June, put your energy into your marriage and your home; rest and rebuild from November.

Putting it together: a worked example

Take a Libran woman with her Moon at 10° Libra, in Swati. She works in marketing in Delhi, and her job has started to feel hollow. Her husband has an offer in Bengaluru, and they’re thinking of moving and buying a flat there.

She’s born in Swati, so Rahu is her birth star’s lord, and Rahu in her 4th makes the urge to move strong. That’s not a bad thing, but it means she should make one well-planned move rather than drift between options.

Between February and May 2027, with Jupiter exalted in her 10th and gazing on her 4th, the couple makes the decision. She arranges a role she can do remotely or finds a new one in Bengaluru, and they buy the flat after checking every document carefully. They complete the move before June.

From June to October, with Saturn in her 7th looking at her Moon and her new home, the stress of the move shows up as friction in the marriage. Because she expected it, she doesn’t read it as a sign the move was a mistake. They set aside time together every week, and postpone any further big joint decisions until after October.

By phase three, the flat they bought in spring is appreciating, and Ketu’s restlessness in her 10th has turned into a clearer sense of the work she actually wants to do.

Aligning with the energy: your plan

Understand the energy, see where it sits, and plan your life around it. For a Libran, this is what that means.

Rahu in your 4th: build the home properly. Rahu wants a bigger, better, more secure home. Capricorn, your yogakaraka’s sign, tells you how: with patience, due diligence and a long-term view. If you buy property, verify every document, check the builder’s record, and don’t borrow beyond what you can comfortably repay. If you renovate, set a budget and stick to it.

If you move, make it one well-researched move. And because Rahu in the 4th can unsettle the mind even at home, make your home a genuine sanctuary: a calm corner, a routine, a space where work doesn’t follow you. Check on your mother regularly.

Ketu in your 10th: let your career evolve, don’t abandon it. Ketu loosens your attachment to title and status. Align with it by letting your work move toward meaning rather than walking away from it. Do your job well but quietly, without needing recognition.

Explore flexible or remote arrangements if home is calling. Notice which parts of your work still feel alive, and grow those. Ketu prepares change slowly. By phase two, when Ketu moves into your yogakaraka’s nakshatra, the direction usually becomes clear.

Then align with each phase.

• Phase one (Mars, your 2nd and 7th lord): plan property and family finances together with your spouse. Agree on the budget before you look at houses.
• Phase two (Moon, your 10th lord): make career and home decisions together, ideally in spring under Jupiter. From June, focus on your marriage.
• Phase three (Sun, your 11th lord): let property work for you. Consider rental income or a well-timed sale.
