Taurus, Four Months in 2027 Could Shape Your Next Seven Years
Taurus, this transit opens with one of the best windows any rashi will get, and then it asks you to get ready for something important.
On 25 November 2026, Rahu enters your 9th house: faith, teachers, your father, higher learning, long journeys, fortune. You may find yourself questioning beliefs you’ve always taken for granted, drawn toward a teacher, a philosophy, or a country you’ve never been to. At the same time, Ketu settles into your 3rd house of courage and communication, and quietly frees you from needing everyone’s approval.
Here’s what makes your picture special. Until June 2027, Saturn sits in your 11th house of gains, one of its best positions. And from late January to late June 2027, Jupiter is exalted in your 3rd, looking directly at your 9th. For those months, almost everything this transit touches is protected.
Then, in June 2027, Saturn enters your 12th house, and your Sade Sati begins. So for Taurus, this Rahu–Ketu transit is two things at once: a remarkable opportunity for learning and growth, and the time to prepare yourself for the years ahead. This guide shows you how to do both.
Rahu in your 9th, Ketu in your 3rd
Rahu in the 9th is hunger for meaning. The 9th house is dharma, faith, higher education, teachers and gurus, your father, long-distance travel, and fortune itself. Rahu here makes you want to understand life on your own terms.
Many Taureans will study something new, travel far, explore a different philosophy, or rethink the faith they grew up with. The realistic cautions: Rahu in the 9th can create friction with your father or teachers, and it can attract you to a teacher who isn’t genuine. Discernment matters.
And look at where Rahu sits. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and for Taurus, Saturn is your yogakaraka, the single most auspicious planet in your chart, ruling your 9th house (fortune) and your 10th (career). So Rahu is in your 9th, in the sign of your own 9th lord, who is also your best planet. That makes this a transit where learning and fortune are closely tied to career. A degree, a certification, a mentor or a journey abroad started now can shape your professional life for years.
Ketu in the 3rd gives quiet courage. The 3rd house is effort, communication, siblings and short travel. Ketu here frees you from needing approval. You’ll speak less and act more, and you may feel less interested in social chatter or online noise. There may be some distance from a sibling. Ketu in the 3rd is traditionally considered a good position. Ketu sits in Cancer, the Moon’s sign, and for Taurus, the Moon rules your 3rd. So Ketu is in your 3rd, in the sign of your 3rd lord. The theme is doubled.
If your lagna is also Taurus, these houses apply directly. Otherwise, read your lagna guide too.
Your Sade Sati begins. Saturn sits in Pisces, your 11th house, until 3 June 2027. That’s one of its best positions, bringing income and support from friends. Then Saturn enters Aries, your 12th house, and your Sade Sati begins. Saturn returns to your 11th from 20 October 2027 to February 2028, giving you a few months’ break, then re-enters your 12th to stay. From Aries, Saturn’s 10th aspect falls on Capricorn, your 9th house, exactly where Rahu sits.

Three phases, three different stories
Rahu and Ketu give the results of the nakshatra lords they pass through, and each lord rules particular houses for a Taurean. So the 18 months unfold as three distinct chapters.
Phase one, 25 November 2026 to about late March 2027: fortune through partners and distant places. Rahu sits in Dhanishta, ruled by Mars. For Taurus, Mars rules your 7th house (spouse, partnerships) and your 12th (foreign lands, expenses). So Rahu in your 9th, working through Mars, links fortune with your partner and with faraway places. A spouse from a different background or faith, a partner whose luck lifts yours, travel abroad together, or plans to study or settle overseas are all typical. Pilgrimage and long journeys may cost more than expected.
Meanwhile, Ketu sits in Ashlesha, ruled by Mercury, your 2nd and 5th lord. In your 3rd house, that can make you more reserved with family and give intuitive depth to anything you write or create.
Phase two, from late March to early December 2027: learning and communicating. Rahu moves into Shravana, ruled by the Moon, your 3rd lord. Now your 9th and 3rd houses link directly, the axis of knowledge and its expression. This is an excellent phase for higher studies, teaching, writing, publishing and travel of every kind. Your father and your siblings may both feature.
From about August, Ketu moves into Pushya, ruled by Saturn, your yogakaraka. In your 3rd, that brings quiet, disciplined effort: work that doesn’t need applause.
Phase three, about early December 2027 to June 2028: fortune comes home. Rahu enters Uttarashadha, ruled by the Sun, your 4th lord. Fortune now turns toward home, property and your mother. Property through your father or inheritance, education that helps you buy a home, or a relocation are typical.
Ketu moves through Pushya and finally into Punarvasu, ruled by Jupiter, your 8th and 11th lord, often bringing gains through research or unexpected sources as the transit closes.
Your nakshatra: each Taurean gets their own phase
Taurus holds parts of three nakshatras: Krittika, ruled by the Sun; Rohini, ruled by the Moon; and Mrigashira, ruled by Mars. Those are exactly the three planets that rule Rahu’s three phases in this transit: Mars, then the Moon, then the Sun. (Taurus shares this pattern with Virgo and Capricorn.)
So each Taurean has one phase in which Rahu moves through a nakshatra ruled by the same planet as their own birth star. In that phase, the 9th-house themes of faith, learning, teachers, your father, travel and fortune become deeply personal.
| Your Moon in Taurus | Birth star lord | Your personal phase |
| Mrigashira (23°20′–30°) | Mars | Phase one, Nov 2026 – Mar 2027 |
| Rohini (10°–23°20′) | Moon | Phase two, Mar – Dec 2027 |
| Krittika (0°–10°) | Sun | Phase three, Dec 2027 – Jun 2028 |
The dates are approximate, because the True Node wobbles slightly.
If you’re born in Mrigashira, your personal phase comes first. Mrigashira is the searching nakshatra, the deer always looking for something just beyond reach, and Rahu in your 9th through Mars amplifies that search. Partnership and foreign themes will feel personal. The best of it falls from late January, when Jupiter’s protection arrives.
If you’re born in Rohini, your personal phase runs through most of 2027 and contains both the Jupiter window and the start of your Sade Sati. Rohini is the Moon’s favourite nakshatra, and in phase two Rahu moves through the Moon’s own Shravana. For you, learning, teaching and writing can become central to your life this year. Make the big education and travel decisions in the spring, before Saturn enters your 12th.
If you’re born in Krittika, your personal phase comes last, as Rahu moves through the Sun’s nakshatra, and the Sun is your 4th lord. For you, the 9th-house themes are likely to come home: property, your mother, or a move. Your phase also coincides with Saturn’s return to your 12th in February 2028, so plan any relocation carefully and budget generously.
Your windows: when to move, when to hold
A good start: late November 2026 to January 2027
Rahu enters your 9th while Saturn sits strong in your 11th, supporting income, and Jupiter is in Leo, your 4th, supporting home. Use these weeks to research: the course, the country, the teacher, the journey. Save money too, because you’ll want it later.
Your golden window: late January to early June 2027
From about 25 January, Jupiter moves into Cancer, your 3rd house, where it is exalted, and sits beside Ketu. From there, its 7th aspect falls on Capricorn, your 9th house, onto Rahu. Its 5th aspect falls on Scorpio, your 7th house of marriage. And its 9th aspect falls on Pisces, your 11th, where Saturn is already sitting strong.
For these months, Jupiter is protecting your fortune, your marriage and your gains all at once, while Saturn is still in one of its best positions for you. Few rashis get a window this complete. This is the time for every important decision this transit raises: admissions, applications, visas, a journey abroad, a commitment to a teacher, a marriage, a significant investment in your own learning.
Sade Sati begins: June to October 2027
On 3 June 2027, Saturn enters Aries, your 12th house, and your Sade Sati begins. Realistically, the 12th house brings higher expenses, lighter sleep, and sometimes a sense of isolation, especially if you’re living away from home.
From Aries, Saturn’s 10th aspect falls on your 9th house, on Rahu, so your father’s health, your relationship with teachers, and your faith may all be tested. Its 3rd aspect falls on your 2nd house, so watch family finances and your words.
There is support. From 26 June 2027, Jupiter returns to Leo, your 4th, and its 9th aspect falls on Aries, your 12th, the very house where Saturn sits. Your Sade Sati begins with Jupiter’s hand on it.
A welcome break: late October 2027 to January 2028
On 20 October, Saturn returns to Pisces, your 11th, until February 2028. Income recovers, friends help, and you get a few months to rest and consolidate.
Sade Sati resumes: February to June 2028
Saturn re-enters your 12th to stay. Phase three of this transit brings the focus home.
The practical rule for Taurus: make every big decision between February and May 2027; save for the 12th house; enter your Sade Sati prepared.
Putting it together: a worked example
Take a Taurean woman with her Moon at 18° Taurus, in Rohini. She’s 27, works in software, and wants to do a master’s degree abroad. Her father has had some heart trouble, and the family is worried about her leaving.
She’s born in Rohini, so her personal phase is phase two, from about March to December 2027, when Rahu in her 9th moves through the Moon’s nakshatra. For her, higher learning and travel will be the defining themes of the year.
In phase one, while Rahu works through Mars, her 12th lord of foreign lands, she shortlists universities, takes the required tests and prepares her applications. She saves every month.
Between February and May 2027, in her golden window, she submits applications, accepts an offer, and applies for her visa, with Jupiter exalted and gazing on her 9th house. She also takes her father for a full cardiac check-up and arranges care and support for him at home, because Jupiter’s gaze on her 9th protects her father too. She has an honest conversation with her family about how she’ll stay connected.
She leaves in late summer 2027, after Saturn has entered her 12th. The first months abroad feel lonely and expensive, which is exactly what Saturn in the 12th brings. Because she expected it and budgeted generously, she doesn’t mistake it for failure. When Saturn briefly returns to her 11th from late October, she finds part-time work and new friends.
Her Sade Sati has begun, but on her terms: with a plan, savings, and her father looked after.
Aligning with the energy: your plan
Understand the energy, see where it sits, and plan your life around it. For a Taurean, this is what that means.
Rahu in your 9th: seek knowledge through a disciplined path. Rahu wants meaning, new horizons and a philosophy of your own. Capricorn, your yogakaraka’s sign, tells you how to pursue it: through structured, recognised learning, not scattered curiosity. Enrol in the degree, take the certification, study one tradition or subject properly.
Plan any journey abroad with clear steps and a budget. When it comes to teachers and gurus, be open but discerning: Rahu in the 9th can attract you to someone impressive but hollow. Look for teachers whose lives match their words. And with your father, aim for understanding even when you disagree. Your 9th house is his house too.
Ketu in your 3rd: act quietly and let your work speak. Ketu takes away the need for approval and applause. Align with it by talking less about your plans and simply carrying them out. Put effort into things that matter to you, whether or not anyone notices.
Give siblings space if things feel distant, rather than forcing closeness. If you write or create, trust your intuition, because Ketu in the 3rd often gives work an unusual depth.
Prepare for Saturn. Since your Sade Sati begins in June 2027, part of aligning with this transit is getting ready for the next one. Build savings for higher 12th-house expenses. Establish a sleep routine now. Make sure your important decisions are completed in the golden window.
Then align with each phase.
- Phase one (Mars, your 7th and 12th lord): plan foreign study, travel or partnership decisions together with your spouse or partner. Research and save.
- Phase two (Moon, your 3rd lord): learn, teach, write and travel. Make admissions and visa decisions in spring, under Jupiter.
- Phase three (Sun, your 4th lord): let your fortune build toward home, through property, your mother’s well-being, or a well-planned move.

The Taurean who comes out of this
Taurus is the sign of steady, patient building. This transit gives you something to build with: new knowledge, wider horizons, a deeper understanding of what you believe. Use the golden window of early 2027 to make your big moves, and you’ll walk into your Sade Sati with a degree, a direction, a teacher or a journey already behind you, and the savings and routines to carry you through. Saturn rewards those who arrive prepared.
