Leo, Your Hardest 18 Months End on 25 November

Leo, breathe out.

Since May 2025, Ketu has been sitting on your Moon. If the last eighteen months have felt like a long, grey stretch, as if your usual fire had dimmed, your confidence was harder to find, and people didn’t quite see you, that was Ketu. For a sign ruled by the Sun, which wants to shine and be recognised, Ketu on the Moon is one of the most uncomfortable transits possible.

On 25 November 2026, it ends. Ketu moves out of your sign and into your 12th house. Rahu enters your 6th house, one of the strongest positions it can occupy. And Jupiter, the great benefic, enters your sign on 31 October, a few weeks before the nodes even move.

I won’t tell you the next 18 months are effortless. Saturn is still sitting in your 8th house, and it will move in and out of it during this period. But the overall direction for Leo is clear: you are coming out of the shadow. This guide shows you the three phases, how your nakshatra shapes your release, and the specific months to push forward and to hold steady.

Rahu in your 6th, Ketu in your 12th

Rahu in the 6th is one of the few placements nearly every classical astrologer agrees on. The 6th house is competition, enemies, debt, disease and daily work, and Rahu here gives you the hunger and the cunning to win. Competitors weaken. Exams, interviews and legal battles tend to go your way. Debts become manageable. Health improves when you give it discipline.

And because Rahu sits in Capricorn, Saturn’s sign, the wins come through method and persistence, through government processes, institutions, structured effort. Government jobs and competitive exams are especially favoured.

The realistic caution: Rahu in the 6th can make you combative. Winning every argument is not the same as winning.

Ketu in the 12th turns you inward. The 12th house is sleep, expenses, foreign lands, hospitals, retreats and moksha. Ketu here pulls you toward spiritual practice, solitude, pilgrimage, perhaps time abroad. Expenses can rise, often on things that don’t show: travel, family, medical bills.

Sleep may be lighter. But Ketu in the 12th is also considered one of its most natural positions, because the 12th is the house of liberation and Ketu is the planet of liberation. Many people find genuine peace here.

And Ketu sits in Cancer, the Moon’s sign. For Leo, the Moon rules the 12th house. So Ketu is in the 12th, in the sign of the 12th lord. The theme of release is doubled. This is a transit for letting go of what the last eighteen months left behind.

This is the final phase of Ketu’s cycle over your Moon, the counterpart to Rahu’s Sade Sati. Phase one came when Ketu sat in Virgo, your 2nd house, from late 2023. The peak was Ketu on your Moon. By mid-2028, when Ketu leaves Cancer, the cycle is complete.

Three phases, three different stories

Rahu and Ketu give the results of the nakshatra lords they pass through, and each lord rules particular houses for a Leo. So the 18 months unfold as three distinct chapters.

Phase one, 25 November 2026 to about late March 2027: winning battles over home and fortune. Rahu sits in Dhanishta, ruled by Mars. For Leo, Mars is the yogakaraka, ruling your 4th house (home, property, mother) and your 9th (luck, father, guru, dharma). So Rahu’s fighting spirit in your 6th is backed by your most auspicious planet.

Property disputes, legal matters involving land or family, and conflicts where you need your father’s or mentor’s support tend to resolve in your favour. Meanwhile Ketu sits in Ashlesha, ruled by Mercury, your 2nd and 11th lord. In your 12th house, that often means money flowing out toward family or spiritual causes, and a strange indifference to income targets that used to matter.

Phase two, about late March to early December 2027: health, service and distant places. Rahu moves into Shravana, ruled by the Moon, your 12th lord. Now the 6th and 12th houses link directly, the classic axis of hospitals, foreign service and healing work. Some Leos will take a job abroad or with an international organisation.

Some will find themselves caring for a sick family member. This is the phase to take your own health seriously, especially sleep. From about August, Ketu moves into Pushya, ruled by Saturn, your 6th and 7th lord. It’s a quiet signal to let go of old disputes, and perhaps of a partnership that has run its course.

Phase three, about early December 2027 to June 2028: your victory. Rahu enters Uttarashadha, ruled by the Sun, your own sign lord. Rahu in your 6th, in your own lord’s nakshatra, is the strongest moment of the transit for you.

Competitive exams, promotions, government work, legal cases and anything requiring you to outperform others peaks here. Ketu moves through Pushya and finally into Punarvasu, ruled by Jupiter, your 5th and 8th lord, deepening spiritual study and bringing attention to children.

Your nakshatra: how the release feels for you

Ketu didn’t sit on every Leo’s Moon at the same time. It moved backward through your sign, crossing different nakshatras in different months. So the release you feel on 25 November depends on when Ketu last crossed your exact Moon, and so does the timing of Jupiter’s arrival on it.

The dates are approximate. Ketu’s True Node wobbles slightly, and Jupiter turns retrograde each year, so its passage over a given degree can be spread out.

If you’re born in Magha, this release matters most to you. Magha is Ketu’s own nakshatra, and Ketu has been crossing your Moon in the months just before this transit. You’re the Leo who has felt it most recently and most intensely. When Ketu leaves on 25 November, you’ll likely feel the lift most sharply. And you’re the first to receive Jupiter, which enters Leo at the very start of Magha on 31 October.

If you’re born in Purva Phalguni, your hardest months were late 2025 and early 2026. You’ve already started to recover, and this transit confirms it.

If you’re born in Uttara Phalguni, Ketu’s crossing came early, in mid-2025. You’ve had the longest time to adjust.

One honest note about Jupiter. Classical texts don’t count Jupiter over the Moon among its best transit positions; it often brings a change of residence or unexpected expenses. But from your sign, Jupiter’s gaze falls on your 5th, 7th and 9th houses: children, marriage and fortune. The months it crosses your Moon are good for those areas, even if they’re unsettled at home.

Your windows: Leo’s calendar runs differently

For most rashis, Saturn’s move into Aries in June 2027 is the hardest part of this transit. For Leo, it’s the opposite. Saturn has been in your 8th house, your Ashtam Shani dhaiya, and Aries is your 9th. So when Saturn moves, you get relief, and when it returns to Pisces, the pressure comes back. Here’s how the year actually unfolds for you.

Inward and careful: late November 2026 to early June 2027

Saturn is still in your 8th, so stay careful with health, driving, sudden expenses and anything involving other people’s money. From about 25 January to 26 June, Jupiter moves into Cancer, your 12th house, and sits beside Ketu. That’s a beautiful window for spiritual practice, foreign travel, retreat and charity, the inward work. From there Jupiter’s 7th aspect falls on Capricorn, your 6th, on Rahu, so your competitive battles in these months are fought with Jupiter’s protection.

Your best stretch: June to October 2027

On 3 June 2027, Saturn leaves your 8th house for your 9th. Your dhaiya lifts. On 26 June, Jupiter returns to your sign. And Rahu is still strong in your 6th. Put together, this is the strongest period of the entire transit for Leo. If you’re preparing for an exam, a job interview, a promotion, a court case or a competitive bid, aim for these months.

There’s a nuance here worth knowing. From Aries, Saturn’s 10th aspect falls on Capricorn, your 6th house. Saturn is your 6th lord, so it is looking at its own house, where Rahu sits. That strengthens everything 6th-house: you’ll have the grit to outwork anyone. Saturn is debilitated, though, so look after your father’s health, since the 9th house is his.

Careful again: late October 2027 to January 2028

On 20 October, Saturn returns to Pisces, your 8th house, and the dhaiya resumes until February 2028. This is a shorter stretch, but realistically, the old 8th-house cautions apply again: health, sudden events, joint money.

A strong finish: February to June 2028

Saturn returns to your 9th, and Rahu moves through the Sun’s nakshatra in phase three. Your own sign lord’s energy is driving Rahu in your 6th. Leo ends this transit on a high.

Putting it together: a worked example

Take a Leo woman with her Moon at 6° Leo, in Magha. She’s spent most of 2026 with Ketu sitting exactly on her Moon and feels drained. She has two goals: clearing a long-pending dispute over her family’s property, and preparing for a government recruitment exam.

The property dispute belongs in phase one. Rahu works through Mars, her 4th and 9th lord, and from late January Jupiter’s gaze protects her 6th house. So she files or settles between February and March 2027, with her father’s support if she can get it.

The exam belongs in her best stretch. If the exam calendar allows, she aims for an attempt between July and October 2027, when Saturn has left her 8th, Jupiter has returned to her sign, and Rahu is still strong in her 6th. If it falls later, phase three, from February to June 2028, gives her a second strong chance.

Between late October 2027 and January 2028, when Saturn is back in her 8th, she avoids risky investments, keeps her health check-ups, and uses the time for revision rather than big moves.

She can’t change the sky. But she can make sure her two biggest efforts land in the two strongest windows.

Aligning with the energy: your plan

Rahu in your 6th: pick your battles, then fight them properly. Rahu here gives you the hunger to win, and Capricorn tells you how: with method, patience and the right process. Make a list of the battles that matter, whether that’s an exam to clear, a debt to pay off, a competitor to outperform, a legal matter to close, or a health problem to fix.

Then work through them systematically, not all at once. Use institutions and formal channels rather than personal confrontations. And put Rahu’s energy into a daily health routine: the 6th house rewards consistency more than any other house. The battle to avoid is the unnecessary one. Not every slight needs an answer.

Ketu in your 12th: let go on purpose. Ketu here, in the sign of your 12th lord, is asking you to release what the last eighteen months left behind: resentment, self-doubt, an old image of yourself. Align with it deliberately. Give yourself real rest.

Take the pilgrimage or retreat you’ve been postponing. Give to causes you believe in, because when you choose where money goes, the 12th house takes less by surprise. Budget for higher expenses in advance. If travel or work abroad calls, this transit supports it.

Then align with each phase.

• Phase one (Mars, your yogakaraka): settle property and family disputes, with your father’s or mentor’s support. Act from late January, once Jupiter’s gaze is on your 6th.
• Phase two (Moon, your 12th lord): prioritise health, especially sleep. If foreign work or healing work calls you, this is the phase for it. Release old disputes as Ketu moves into Pushya around August.
• Phase three (Sun, your own lord): this is your phase to compete and win. Schedule the exam, the promotion push or the big pitch here, or in your best stretch from June to October 2027.
