Jupiter - The kind Teacher of our Universe

In the heavenly domain of Vedic Astrology, Jupiter is called Guru or Brihaspati. The term Guru literally means one who “removes darkness”. The Sun is King, Mars is Soldier, and therefore Jupiter is a royal advisor, a priest, and a teacher.

Jupiter reflects the principles of enlargement, growth and grace.  Unlike the other planets, which may challenge us with their struggles or emotional ups and downs, Jupiter is the “Great Benefic” because its main purpose is to bless, guide and give us meaning in our lives.

Jupiter is the planet of “Akasha” or Ether, the subtlest of the five elements. This tells us that not only are the effects of Jupiter physical in nature, but they are also very spiritual and intellectual. Jupiter represents the part of you that wants the truth, that is always saying “why”, that looks for the bigger picture.

Without Jupiter’s influences, it would seem that we live in a world of random occurrences with no moral or philosophical structure to them. Jupiter also bestows upon us “luck” which often seems to be miraculous interventions, but from a Vedic standpoint, are really just the time of the benefits that have occurred to us as a result of our good actions (Punya).

Core Nature

As the largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter possesses the astrological characteristics of size, inclusion and generosity.

Jupiter is the representative planet of the “Sattva” Guna (“sattva” means quality of light, harmonious and good).  Its energy is outward-moving and inclusive in character.

Jupiter is the ruler of 2 zodiac signs: Sagittarius, which is the fiery archer portraying the quest for truth and adventure; and Pisces, which is the water sign representing spiritual liberation and compassion.

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer (the mother sign) because wisdom and knowledge are most effective when they are combined with nurturing and love for humanity. On the contrary, Jupiter is in its debilitation position in Capricorn, because the restrictions imposed by structures and limitations placed on material success often restrict Jupiter’s requirements for expansion and faith.

Jupiter’s Significations (Karakatwas)

Jupiter has a positive impact on practically every facet of human existence, including lots of money being on our person and peace within our being.

Core Representation – Wisdom and Expansion

The major function of Jupiter in our lives is to denote within us a sense of Wisdom (Jnana). This type of wisdom cannot be found solely in books; it is the deep understanding of the best way to exist due to having led a good life.

Jupiter’s other representation of significance is Expansion, whereby Jupiter causes everything to be made larger in volume. Bank accounts are made larger, families are made larger, and our comprehension of spiritual matters becomes larger through Jupiter’s influence.

Jupiter is also the relative indication of where we will find our “luck” (Bhagya) within this life, i.e., those who will provide assistance that we do not earn, as well as how to achieve success without having to work for it.

Physical Body – Fat & Digestion

On a physical basis, Jupiter is in control of the liver, which is the largest organ of the body and is absolutely necessary for detoxifying from bad substances. In addition, Jupiter influences the two large upper legs (thighs), the arterial system and the circulatory system.

Since Jupiter is also the planet of expansion, this further means that it governs the growth (increased volume) of the fat (adipose tissue) within the human body. A Jupiter that is not weak will provide a person with a solid body form as well as (at times) a “chubby” or jovial physical appearance; whereas, a weak Jupiter will cause a person to gain weight and/or develop diseases associated with diabetes or liver malfunction.

Relationships – Teacher, Spouse & Offspring

In society, Jupiter relates to our teachers (gurus) and mentors. When reviewing a woman’s chart, Jupiter is the primary indicator that relates to the spouse, the reliability that comes from the guidance provided to her through this relationship.

Furthermore, Jupiter will also be associated with (Putrakaraka) children. The overall state of health, fortune and/or happiness that can come from children can be found in a chart based on Jupiter.

Occupations – Law, Finance & Spirituality

Due to the fact that Jupiter governs moral and ethical values (wisdom), this makes Jupiter related to all aspects of law, court systems, and teaching (educators).

Additionally, due to Jupiter’s spiritual appeal, it can also cover those who provide service in high finance (banking) or those who help manage wealth (financial advisors), as well as persons who work in any capacity (priest, minister, spiritual leader).

All occupations wherein there is the provision of “guidance” or “advice” contain an element of Jupiterian energy.

Mythical & Astronomical Context

Brihaspati’s myth demonstrates that he is the primary defender of righteousness (dharma) and also a counsellor to the gods.

The Story: Counsellor of The Devas

In the Puranas, Brihaspati is said to be the son of Sage Angirasa. He serves as the “Devaguru” (Teacher of the Gods) to the Devas (gods). His responsibility is to keep the gods walking in the path of Dharma and to protect them from the deceits of the Asuras (demon-like beings). He is regularly illustrated wearing golden robes, travelling in a chariot pulled by eight pale horses.

One story about him is that he had a disagreement with Venus (Shukracharya), the teacher of the demons. Venus, the teacher of the demons, would teach how to attain what we desire in the material world, whereas Brihaspati would show how to desire what is true in your soul. This constant interplay between desire for material objects and the pursuit of spiritual wisdom is always a part of the Vedic philosophy.

Vimshottari Dasha: Sixteen Years of Success

In the Vimshottari Dasha system, Jupiter’s Mahadasha lasts 16 years. The Jupiter Mahadasha is typically looked at as being one of the most productive and prosperous times in a person’s life. During the 16 years of the Jupiter Mahadasha, a person can expect to rise in social standing, experience an increase in their money, and develop a great interest in either religious, spiritual, or philosophical aspects of their life. At this time in a person’s life, the hard work put in the previous years usually comes to fruition.

Jupiter’s Relationships with Other Planets

Jupiter is a joyful planet that has a greater emotional and moral authority than the rest of the planets.

Friends: Sun, Moon, and Mars. Jupiter provides understanding to lead the Sun, guidance for the Moon’s emotions, and direction for Mars’ actions.

Enemies: Mercury and Venus. Jupiter looks upon Mercury’s intellect as “trivial” or only focused on business. Jupiter perceives Venus’ interest in pleasure to distract him from the truth, thus making them adversaries of Jupiter.

Neutral: Saturn. Saturn and Jupiter relate as a teacher and a strict principal of a school. Saturn provides Jupiter with control; however, their relationship is one of distance in the field of the same school.

Behavioural Analysis

The placement of Jupiter has an effect on your perspective of life: abundance versus scarcity. Or simply put: abundance vs lack.

Dignified Jupiter (visionary)

Someone with strong Jupiter (specifically in the signs of Sagittarius, Pisces or Cancer) has what is called ‘expansive vision’. Such individuals are naturally optimistic and possess firm beliefs that things will work out in the end. They have an expanding vision of life and, as a result, are naturally generous (helping others without expecting anything in return). A strong Jupiter person can provide comfort to others simply by being present and has been known to be a catalyst for change in their communities. Their integrity and wisdom have earned them the respect of others in society.

Afflicted Jupiter (Over Extender)

Whereas a strong Jupiter can provide the individual with the ability to believe, such as being afflicted in Capricorn or having its energies afflicted by Rahu, it can corrupt our ability to believe. This can result in excessive optimism or ‘blind faith’, leading to poor decisions around their finances. They may have a tendency to become overly judgmental or self-righteous and become entrenched in traditional values to the point of being dogmatic.

In their physical being, they may disallow themselves from exercise because they become lethargic and/or develop health problems related to excess, such as high cholesterol or obesity. They probably experienced guidance from their elders or had difficulties in their children’s lives due to an afflicted Jupiter.

Remedies & Rituals

If your energy from Jupiter seems to be blocked or overly heavy, Vedic Astrology provides several methods through which you can bring back into your life the light of the Guru.

Gemstone: Jupiter’s main gemstone is known as Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj). When set in gold, it should be worn on the finger of your right hand (that is, if you are right-handed). It is said to promote wisdom, wealth and help with liver health.

Mantra: Jupiter’s vibration is one of large and peaceful sounds (vibration).

Seed Mantra: “Om Gram Greem Groum Sah Gurave Namah”

Guru Gayatri Mantra: “Om Vrishabadhwajaya Vidmahe, Uni Hastaya Dheemahi, Tanno Guru Prachodayat”

The Day of the Week: The day associated with Jupiter is a Thursday. A lot of people will either fast all day on Thursdays, or visit a place of worship to their Spiritual Teacher to give blessings to the energy of the Guru.

Donation (Daana): To strengthen an underdeveloped Jupiter, you can donate yellow coloured items, such as Chana Dal (Yellow Lentils), Haldi (Turmeric), Saffron, Gold or any flowers that are yellow on Thursdays. You can also donate books to students, which will greatly help with strengthening your Jupiter.

Lifestyle Change: The best way to take care of Jupiter is to show respect to your Teachers and Elders. Doing this, along with taking on a mentor and living a life based on a moral code (Dharma), will naturally help balance Jupiter. Following a “Sattvic” diet (fresh, vegetarian food) and cutting back on the quantity of sugar you consume will help protect your liver and physically align you with Jupiter. The most powerful psychological remedy for Jupiter is to be grateful for what you have (creating an “Abundance Mindset”).

Through the understanding of Jupiter, we learn that wealth is not just about monetary wealth, but about the wealth of your character and the wealth of your wisdom. Jupiter teaches us that the universe is an abundant place and that no matter who we are, we all have enough room to grow.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

In the Vedic traditions, Jupiter is considered to be male. Jupiter is referred to as Lord Brihaspati in Vedic Astrology, meaning the male Guru (teacher) of the gods, and is associated with wisdom and sacred knowledge.

Jupiter is the King of the Gods, associated with ruling the sky (weather) and thunder, and recognised as a large, masculine figure in relation to parental guidance and protection.

Although Jupiter is tied to the nurturing and productive qualities of the planet, his astrological identity is purely related to the masculine principles of expansion and authoritative wisdom in form (growth) and structure.

Jupiter is most famous for being the “Great Benefic” in Astrology. He represents expansion in life, luck and wealth. The size of Jupiter in our solar system also reflects its astrological influence, as it symbolises big concepts and large opportunities.

Historically, Jupiter has been viewed as a protector from the negative aspects of life. Each year, many people show gratitude to Jupiter by seeking his blessings for positive aspects of life, such as abundance, hope, intellectual capacity, and the overall well-being of the spirit.

Jupiter is the ruling planet of the following zodiac signs: Sagittarius & Pisces. He embodies his fiery, adventurous nature in Sagittarius through his governing of the properties of higher education, philosophy and travelling great According to astrological belief, Jupiter is associated with water (represented by Pisces), and its spiritual essence is tied to how it connects with both your intuition and empathetic nature, as well as how it relates to mystical pursuits through its rulership over Rahu.

When in Cancer, Jupiter reaches its exaltation, completely embracing the nurturing aspect of the natural world. The Capricorn zodiac shows Jupiter’s energy at its lowest or most unfavourable level due to Saturn’s cold structure, which restricts Jupiter’s outpouring energy.

Astrologically, both Jupiter and Rahu are opposite concerning their energy characteristics; Jupiter (Guru) is classified as a deva (heavenly) celestial and is linked to wisdom, Light, and tradition. Rahu, on the other hand, is a Chhaya Graha (shadow) celestial being associated with obsession-illusion-non-tradition.

While both planets share a celestial body (the Moon), their mythologies and the ways they influence everything material are entirely different. They are frequently confused with each other because they represent fundamentally dichotomous elements: Jupiter represents truth/order, and Rahu represents chaos and/or material elements.

Jupiter represents growth/abundance, truth-seeking, and Dharma, or the “right way.” Essentially, Jupiter describes your belief system, moral reason, and ability to maintain a positive-generating perception when you think about your growth as a spiritual being and how to reach the level of your highest self (Therefore, Jupiter represents not only your material “self,” but also your spiritual and the wisdom learned through experience).

According to the placement of Jupiter in your astrological natal chart, he will show you how to receive divine grace and/or where to look for meaning in your life. Thus, Jupiter becomes your astrological compass regarding where to go and what direction is most beneficial for your growth as an evolving spiritual being.

When Jupiter’s position in the zodiac is strong, your nature will radiate with an inborn level of optimism and readiness to learn, along with an adequate base to sustain you.

In addition, you will have a strong propensity for good judgment and, generally, will be respected by others, making it easier for you to market yourself to potential advisors or mentors. In contrast, if that same institutional astrology predicts a weak Jupiter, you may feel unfulfilled, make poor choices, and experience difficulty managing your finances.

A weak Jupiter may also result in difficulty quickly finishing the education you have started and/or continuously feeling discontented, where you have difficulty completing specific aspects of your life. In addition, you will see some physical manifestation of a weak Jupiter, such as digestive tract issues or fluctuations in body weight, indicating imbalanced or turbulent Jupiter energy.

According to Vedic Astrology, Jupiter is ruled by Lord Brihaspati, or Deva-Guru. He is the teacher of the gods and the master of all holy words and chants. Lord Brihaspati embodies the highest authority in the sacred laws governing spirituality and rituals. If you worship Lord Brihaspati, you can attract the positive qualities of Jupiter.

In some schools of thought, Lord Vishnu also governs Jupiter, as he preserves our universe and provides for our abundance and morality, consistent with Jupiter’s role as a provider and protector.

Jupiter indicates jobs that involve knowledge and the transfer of information, such as teaching, counselling and instructing others about what they know to help them. This includes those who hold positions as professors, priests, judges and attorneys.

Because Jupiter (the planet of expansion and abundance) affects the banking and financial industries, it also influences those who work in wealth management (bankers and wealth managers) and serve as high-level consultants providing advice across various areas. Many in the medical field, especially consultants or surgeons (having benefited from Jupiter), exhibit a great deal of Jupiterian influence as well.

Other areas of professional endeavour where Jupiter has influence include publishing, philosophy and philanthropy. A large number of those in these professions provide counsel to others, protect justice, or manage very large amounts of resources, as part of Jupiter’s overall benevolent influence.

As a significator of wealth and abundance (Dhana Karaka), when Jupiter is favourably posited regarding your career, it signifies that you can expect to receive promotions, recognition, and be very well thought of by superiors. Jupiter also provides opportunities to expand a career ethically and through higher education.

As far as wealth is concerned, it does not merely provide proceeds but rather provides insight into how to build and maintain one’s assets. The planet Jupiter helps provide multiple revenue streams and/or sudden opportunities for business expansion. The impact of this planet ensures that even if you experience frustrating times, you will have a safeguard of “good fortune” that will assist you in recovering as well as thriving in the long run.

Jupiter is known as a lucky planet and a planetary guide found in spirituality and divine providence. This “good luck” is the result of completing positive actions in the past. When Jupiter acts positively in our lives, we will often find ourselves in synchronicity, e.g., at the right place at the right time. Unlike some of the other planets that provide erratic good luck, the good luck provided by Jupiter is stable and earned.

The Jupiterian influence provides a protective shield against the adverse effects of other planets. Its presence in a chart guarantees that, despite challenges, we will eventually reach a state of abundance and prosperity.

In numerology, the number representing Jupiter is the number three. Creativity, communication, and expansion are characteristics of Jupiter and are associated with the number 3. Those born on the 3rd, 12th, 21st and 30th of any month are believed to be influenced by this planet abundantly. In addition to representing Jupiter, the number three represents the trinity of creation, i.e., beginning, middle, and end. Therefore, it is often a number representing harmony and social interaction. To draw vibrations from Jupiter, it is beneficial to perform significant tasks on days that yield the number 3.

The amount of wealth attracted by Jupiter is greater than what any other planet may attract to you. Jupiter governs not only the amount of wealth that you attract to yourself but also how quickly you attract it. The wealth associated with Jupiter is often termed ‘Bhagya’ or ‘good luck’. It refers not only to cash but also to opportunities, associations, and tangible assets such as real estate and precious metals like gold.

To attract prosperity through Jupiter, individuals may wish to comply with Jupiter’s vibrational frequency of abundance by utilising their resources to further the good of all humankind. Additionally, Jupiter will reward individuals who utilise their resources for the betterment of mankind and follow ethical money management principles.

To have good vibes from the planet Jupiter (the planet of Knowledge), you must learn as long as you have life on this planet and be humble. You should show your teachers, elders and mentors, who are the people that will help you learn from your own life experiences, that you appreciate them and the Crowns they have earned by learning how to become one of the Gurus.

You can also support the positive Jupiter energy by practising “Dana” or giving to others in need; this may include giving Books (Yellow Colour), food, or Clothes (Yellow Colour) to those who are less fortunate. You should not be too judgmental nor get stuck in your beliefs, as you will lose the good vibes from Jupiter.

You can also help support Jupiter’s Vibrations to be pure and good by always being truthful and having a Clean Sattvic diet. You can achieve this spiritually by chanting the “Guru Mantra” or visiting Holy places to maintain Luminosity and Positive, Good Vibes from Jupiter.

Jupiter’s lucky colour is Yellow; it is the colour of the Sun, the colour of Knowledge and the Colour of Spiritual Awakening. Most people wear Yellow on Thursdays, when you honour the day that Jupiter has its strongest Force. Yellow stimulates our intellect and gives us a happy, positive feeling. Gold is another colour associated with Jupiter and is associated with the highest quality and purity, as well as with high social status.

You can use either of these colours in your clothing or in your environment to enhance the positive energy of Jupiter and attract the abundance of and provide for abundance.

Jupiter was referred to as “Guru = Dispeller of Darkness” because he was the symbol by which mankind would find the path from Ignorance to Wisdom through the Effects of the Light (Sun) and the knowledge Jupiter has to share. The Sanskrit name of ‘Brihaspati’ means both “Lord of prayer” & “Teacher of divine knowledge” (great spirit).

As a celestial teacher, Brihaspati teaches others to follow the path of righteousness using his heavenly system of divine education. The names also describe how he acts as an authoritative teacher, providing the moral framework required for a life of success and fostering the understanding that he is to be treated as a guide.

While Saturn is symbolic of contraction, Jupiter shows the opposite characteristics of expansion; therefore, the person with a Jupiter-Aquarius position will have the idealistic potential and growth that that planet represents, while Saturn has more rational, stable forces that produce the restrictions necessary for growth and excellence.

All of that goodness of Jupiter can thus be realised by someone with Saturn providing the structure to support it. Therefore, Jupiter represents one aspect of grace, whereas Saturn represents one aspect of labour. You must use Jupiter to discover vision and Saturn to create the physical manifestation of that vision. When taken together, these two planets show the coexistence of the desire for freedom and the need for responsibility, as both are central to the normal human experience.

Jupiter’s “combust” condition occurs when it is considered too close to the heat produced by the sun, meaning that due to the intensity of the sun’s heat, Jupiter’s effects have been burned off and/or obscured. Because the positive qualities of Jupiter, such as good fortune, wisdom, and prosperity, may only be appreciated temporarily during this period, those affected by Jupiter’s combustion may also struggle with the inability to find guidance or clarity in their decision-making process. It is cautioned against beginning any important events, such as marriage or new business formations, when Jupiter is in a combust condition.

Jupiter is at its best in the Kendra houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) and Trikona houses (1st from sun & moon; 5th & 9th). The best house Jupiter can occupy is its natural house of the 9th; as the 9th vibrates to the qualities of Jupiter, the effect will be to cause a significant amplification of luck for one and will always impact one’s higher education and spiritual journeys.

If Jupiter is positioned in the 1st house (Ascendant), it incites a “Hamsa Yoga” resulting in the individual being very magnetic and wise. While Jupiter is a perfect representation of protective/divine energy regardless of its location in a house situation, we always find the themes associated with that house will show protection from the influences of Jupiter.

Jupiter represents the husband in a female’s birth chart, and if it is strong in Jupiter, it represents a wise, prosperous, and supportive spouse; therefore, marriage will be based on mutual appreciation of each other. Jupiter also represents how happy children and the home will make a woman. If Jupiter’s placement is good in the chart of a woman, her married life will be effortless and prosperous.

Still, if Jupiter is afflicted, the timing of obtaining a partner will be substantially delayed. Understanding will be more difficult without issues in the relationship. As a result, the relationship between Jupiter and a female’s chart is developed using a pattern that is equal to considering Jupiter when considering feminine harmony.

Yes, strong Jupiter is one of the most important planets that suggest career success in government, as it supports successful careers or possible careers within many government sectors, such as administration, judicial, and advisory.

Because government is associated with law, order & authority, and Jupiter has a strong association with ‘Dharma’ (as in the law, and right from wrong) and justice, Jupiter is often very helpful when things are related to the first and 10th houses from the Sun regarding one’s public service. Good Jupiter will often provide wisdom and the ethics necessary for a person to maintain power. In addition, a good Jupiter often provides the ‘luck’ an individual needs to achieve the academic level required to succeed in a public service job.

To improve Jupiter (Guru), offer service to your spiritual teacher (Guru). Jupiter is known as the planet that governs Thursday, so to get the best out of it, fasting or having a simple, salt-free meal is beneficial on that day. Reading the scriptures, or philosophical books, also helps the mind become attuned to that planet.

The chant “Om Graam Greem Graum Sah Gurave Namah” will further increase the good vibration of Jupiter. Additionally, being honest in your dealings and donating yellow items (such as pulses, turmeric, and yellow-coloured cloth) will help empower your Jupiter.

The main gemstone for Jupiter is the Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj). This stone is thought to capture and transmit Jupiter’s positive rays into the person who wears it. Wearing this will also give you increased wealth, health and wisdom.

Before wearing the Yellow Sapphire, you must make sure that it is of the best quality and has been examined by an astrologer, as gemstones give different effects depending upon the person’s natal chart. This gemstone is normally set in gold and should be worn on the index finger of the right hand on a Thursday morning after performing proper cleansing rituals and prayers.

A weak or debilitated Jupiter will usually result in a lack of confidence and a negative view of everything. You will be hindered in your educational and business pursuits. You will constantly be struggling with financial problems and with debt. Physically, there can be issues related to the liver, being overweight or diabetes.

You may find yourself overly critical of others and lacking faith in the spiritual world. A debilitated Jupiter (in Capricorn) can also lead to immoral behaviour or difficulty in finding a defined purpose in life, and require effort from you to balance.

To please Lord Brihaspati, you should rise very early on Thursday and, after taking a bath with a little turmeric in the water, wear yellow clothing, take yellow flowers, chana dal, and jaggery, or offer them at a Peepal tree or at the temple. Light a ghee lamp and read the Brihaspati Vrat Katha or the Guru Stotram.

Feeding a yellow cow or donating yellow food to those in need is also a great way to please Brihaspati. To be blessed with the full number of blessings from the Guru, maintain a peaceful mind and speak gently on Thursday.

The 12th house is often considered a house of loss or expense, and the presence of Jupiter is usually thought of as a “hidden blessing.” The placement of this planet offers an element of protection. It is believed that the presence of Jupiter in the 12th house creates the possibility of achieving an elevated level of spirituality and a deep connection to one’s subconscious.

This also suggests the presence of those who could be one’s “divine intervention,” keeping the individual from major accidents or enemies. Although this placement can produce spending, it is primarily for charitable or spiritual purposes. This is considered an auspicious placement for meditation practice, travel abroad, and enjoying solitude.

The sign of Capricorn is the domicile of Jupiter’s “debilitation,” which represents the struggle between the expansive, idealistic nature of Jupiter and the more earthly, materialistic energy of Capricorn. This explains how individuals with a ‘debilitated’ Jupiter may not be so fortunate as those with a ‘strong’ Jupiter. However, if a debilitated Jupiter has been aspected (Neecha Bhanga) by a benefic planet, it may help an individual create a Rajyog of worldly abundance after many trials.

A person with a debilitated Jupiter will learn to be practical and grounded. Achieving success may be delayed when one has a debilitated Jupiter, while developing resilience, persistence, and rational goal-setting.

The combination of Jupiter and Rahu creates a “Guru Chandal Yoga.” This combination can represent complexity. On the one hand, this combination may amplify Jupiter’s expansion of knowledge, aided by Rahu’s influence, fostering success in another country; on the other hand, it can challenge traditions or confuse notions of morality.

A person who has this combination may have strong ambition but struggle with their reputation. If this combination exists, a strong ethical commitment to their work will help direct this energy toward more positive experiences through a reliable, committed spiritual mentor.

A strong Jupiter will occur in the 12th house in its own domicile (Sagittarius, Pisces) or in its exalted sign (Cancer). A strong Jupiter will also occur in one of the Kendra (first, fourth, seventh or tenth) or in a Trikona (fifth or ninth) house. The placement of Jupiter in both the Vargottama (same sign in the natal and Navamsha chart) is an additional representation of Jupiter’s strength in your chart.

A strong Jupiter would indicate that the person has a broad forehead, an attractive voice, and dignified gestures. If most things tend to “work out” for you at the last minute, it is a sign that you have a strong Jupiter that is protecting your efforts.

A woman with a strong Jupiter will receive blessings by having a happy, healthy and virtuous marriage to a respectable husband. A strong Jupiter indicates that a woman will have advantageous, responsible and successful children. Women who possess a strong Jupiter will also be deeply respected and serve as anchors in their families, while also experiencing social prestige and financial independence. A strong Jupiter will develop within women a natural inclination toward charitable work and spiritual pursuits, resulting in long-term peace and fulfilment. Therefore, a strong Jupiter acts as a “Kavach,” or protective shield, while allowing the woman to enjoy a life filled with grace, wealth and fulfilment.
