Double Transit is one of the most potent predictive tools in Indian astrology to time a particular event in an individual’s life. This predictive method has been used quite accurately over generations as part of the Bhrigu Nandi Nadi system, and has gained more popularity in recent times due to efforts of Shri K.N. Rao.
In vedic astrology, timing of events is done through the use of various Dasha’s and the final outcome is based on the overall potential of horoscope and activation of particular houses through planets. At the same time, transits also play a significant role in delivering the final outcome. In other words, the stage is set by Dasha and planets, while transit of planets act as a delivery boy or a postman and delivers us the promised results.
Now, Saturn and Jupiter are very important planets and their transit is given a lot of importance while reading a horoscope. Saturn is a Karmic planet and is known for testing people till they discharge their pending karma. On the other hand, Jupiter is a benevolent planet which waits for Saturn to complete its task and then blesses the native with what he/she is looking for or what one deserves. When both these outer planets exercise their common influence on any house or its lord (planet), then that phenomenon is called Double Transit.
Double Transit is used to time major life events such as rise in career, marriage, birth of progeny or onset of a major illness.
HOW TO USE DOUBLE TRANSIT
Let us consider the example of how we can use Double Transit to predict rise in career. First of all, for rise in career, one should be running a favourable dasha. Dasha of Ascendant Lord, 6th Lord, 10th Lord and 11th lord or any planet connected with them promise rise in career. Dasha of yogakaraka planet, planet involved in grand yoga like Gajakesari Yoga, Rajyoga, Dhanyoga Vipreet rajyoga, Neechabhang rajyoga and other important astrological yoga is capable to give promotion in its dasha.
If someone is running through this period then we can apply double transit theory here.
Jupiter: In transit, Jupiter should be aspecting the Moon or the 10th house from the Moon or ascendant. Jupiter in trine from ascendant or moon is also favorable but importance should be given to Jupiter in 10th from ascendant or moon or Jupiter aspect on the 10th house from ascendant or the moon.
Saturn: In transit, Saturn should be aspecting the Moon or the 10th house from the Moon or ascendant. Saturn in trine from ascendant or moon is also favorable but importance should be given to Saturn in 10th from ascendant or moon or Saturn aspect on the 10th house from ascendant or the moon.
DOUBLE TRANSIT FROM 20 NOVEMBER 2020 TO 6 APRIL 2021
Between 20th November 2020 to 6th April 2021, both Saturn and Jupiter will be positioned together in Capricorn sign. From here, they will be directly activating the house in which they are positioned and the opposite house through their combined 7th aspect. Hence, wherever Capricorn sign (where they are positioned) and Cancer sign (where they are aspecting mutually) are present in your Lagna Kundali (Ascendant Chart), the promise of these houses will unfold in your life over the next five months or so and bring about major changes.
Following is the likely impact of the forthcoming Double Transit for different zodiac signs as judged from the Lagna Kundali. It is worth mentioning that those of you whose Moon sign is Sagittarius, Capricorn or Aquarius, are likely to see even greater changes in their lives. This is because they are already undergoing Saturn’s Sadhe-Sati and the Double Transit will further add fuel to fire and turn their world upside down.
